Custom manifold with flat nozzles
Alsapan in France uses an efficient custom manifold (Silvent 380 special) with flat nozzles to blow parquet blocks clean before varnishing.
Lifting wrench from press tool
The picture shows a two pound wrench being lifted of the die by the air stream from two Silvent 705 air nozzles. Previously this was done using the conventional blowing method - a 3/8 inch open pipe. Supply pressure was 500 kPa (71.5 psi) which resulted in each pipe generating a noise level of 110 dB(A). Air consumption was 185 Nm³/h (109 scfm) per pipe. Installation of Silvent air nozzles more than halved the noise level and reduced air consumption by 49%.
